For those of you who came to this thinking it had anything to do with the SNL short, I am sorry. It is just about my actual lazy Sunday that I have planned.

It is just after 10am (a little late for me) and I am just getting to my posting and my tea drinking. My friend Kevin just logged into google chat so that could hinder my thinking a little but I will battle through it to get my thoughts down.

I finished my work schedule for the week last night and now I am off for a few days. The sun is shining in Halifax and all I feel like doing is being lazy today. If only I watched NFL football, I would be all set. I don’t so I will have to find other ways to be lazy. Maybe a trip to the backyard with a book?? I could always go and get beer but since we are still recovering from a vacation last week, money is only for essentials like a trip to the grocery store later. For the first time in a long time we have an empty bread box, how crazy is that. That means time to hit the SuperStore later for sure.

For breakfast we could have pancakes again but we had that yesterday. I suppose it will be cereal til we stock up. I might go for a bike ride at some point even though that is not considered very lazy. Katie and I are trying to take Hal Johnson to heart and get a little more active. We have been talking about different foods to add to the menu and some we should cut back on. The body seems to turn on you once you go over 30 and the work needs to be put in so it is not a lost cause by 40. Wish us luck on this please.

A drive might happen as well since Katie has not gotten the chance to go all NASCAR lately. I feel bad sometimes when she goes long stretches without getting to get her drive on. So maybe we can hit the road and end up somewhere fun, who knows?

Bosco and Mercy seem to be back to normal after a week at the kennel. I mean I was not expecting Bosco to be any different but Mercy is a more delicate soul and he needed a few days to adjust to life back on Kline. Now they are doing their daily thing of wandering around the house looking for pets, treats and dinner. Rough life the farm on Kline Street has I can tell you that.

Tonight for dinner there is a big pan of chicken breasts that has been soaking in sauce since yesterday. I can’t wait to fire up the grill and do my cookin thing to those bad boys. I am not sure what we are having with them yet but we are heading to the grocery store so it will be something tasty. Stop by if you are in the area, there will be plenty leftover.

Even though I can’t watch it until tomorrow when I download it, Curb Your Enthusiasm starts tonight for a fifth season. I can’t wait and have been looking forward to this for over a year. Ah Larry how I have missed you.

So that is how the day is shaping up over here. I am not sure it is how it will happen but if anything changes you know I will let you know about it.

Have a great Sunday yourself even if it is not lazy.
