Forbes released their rich list for musicians and the Rolling Stones are on top of the pile.
1. Rolling Stones $139 million.
2. Jay-Z $83million.
3. Madonna $72 million.
4. Bon Jovi, $67 million.
5. Elton John, $53 million.
6. Celine Dion, $45 million.
7. Tim McGraw, $37 million.
8. 50 Cent, $33 million.
9. U2, $30 million.
10. P Diddy, $23 million.
Forbes.com said high ticket prices helped boost earnings for these artists but that’s in addition to expert marketing of their image.
“They also exploit the power of their brand name to push other products,” the report said.

I actually got to see the Stones back in 1989 - Steel Wheels tour. My wife and I caught the second show of the tour. Both the first and second shows were in Philadelphia. We were about 20 rows back from the stage and it was awesome.
