Look out we have a budding superstar on our hands and it is not just on the court.

Andrea Bargnani was named among the 10 players whose jersey made the Top 10 Most Popular NBA Jersey’s in Europe list, released by the NBA on Thursday. Bargnani’s jersey ranked eighth overall based on sales from retail locations across Europe during the 2006-07 season.

You need to have game on the court usually for it to translate off the court in terms of sales and popularity. I think it won’t be too long before Bargs is second on the team in pretty much every way behind CB4 of course.

I have seen the Raps on the cover of more magazines this year than ever before. Funny what a little thing called winning can do for a franchise. The best part (at least to date) is the current Raptors are not “Me” guys. Yes that is right they are not Vince Carter and I would be suprised if they ever will be.

Go buy a Bargnani jersey before the price goes up.
