Good morning to you all on those cold and dark Saturday morning. I hope it is much nice where you are.

Have not really blogged too much this week and seem to be getting backed up with things I should be mentioning. So here is my attempt at catching you up.

Finding Time

Since last Christmas there has been a man hunt that even Tommy Lee Jones would of been proud of to find my missing watch. I thought I lost it in Toronto at Christmas time and have not been able to find it since. I have turned Kline Street upside down, bothered the Rocks to do the same in TO and even suspected that Jackson found it and sold it on EBAY.

Well yesterday when I was looking for my winter hat, I was drawn to look in my small MEC bag in the walk in closet. What do you know there it was. My Roots watch I have missed dearly. Now the battery is dead and I can’t wear it just yet but I found it! Everyone can call off the dogs.

An Irritating Truth

We watched The Simpsons movie last night and it lived up to the hype. Classic Simpsons story and writing. I am sure if I watched it again I would see many things that I missed. The whole environmental focus was perfect and all the little shots they took were clever. I am going to try and use the phrase “baking up a batch of frownies”.

Monsoon Season

Yesterday in Halifax it was borderline hurricane weather. As you can see from the size of the branch in our front yard it was a windy one. We heard on the news that over on other streets there were even larger branches downed causing traffic issues. I am just amazed our power did not go out. We are pretty happy that we went to Cape Breton last weekend.

Things That Suck

Here is a picture of my always growing catfish from the aquarium. He does a great job sucking up all the garbage and making the tank stay somewhat clean. Good work sucky.

The Weekend Plans

Not much is planned really. We are both pretty happy to just have two days to relax and do very little. I am sure there will be a trip to the grocery store and we may take a trip out to get some firewood but other than that it will be all about lazy.
