A look back at the summer of 07

It is sunny but cold today. The best way to try and warm up other than turning on the heat is to think back to the summer when the weather was warm and all the fun times that were had.

The Summer’s best

• The summer is always started off with my birthday. What a way to kick it off. It was nothing elaborate but still was a lot of fun.
• Our weekend trip to Boston for Canada Day. We drove down to visit Kevin and Angela and had a great time. We ate well, drank a lot and saw all the sites of Boston.
• Very few good TV shows to speak of but one I watched was Shaq and his quest to help the chubby kids.
• The White Stripes were touring across Canada and popping up in the oddest of locations.
• Watched way too much of Earth Day.
• Of the movies we saw this one made me feel sick-o.
• I also checked out the Transformers flick. It was more than meets the eye that was for sure.
• The beginning of the beard.
• Many hours spent in the backyard reading and having a cold one.
• We hit the Tall Ships down at the waterfront.
• Reaching 100, 000 views!
• Katie’s parents visit for a week and a new blog is formed.
• We get a new toilet for the second floor.
• Kyle’s Six Pix is born. If you like new music check it out.
• Went for a drive out to Peggy’s Cove for some photography.
• Katie and I hit the driving range. Sad that we keep missing out on golf each summer.
• The great blog explosion! I had over 10,000 hits in one day.
• One year with the Malibu, what a great purchase that was.
• Made out like a bandit at a local garage sale.
• Mojito madness in the backyard.
• Summer day afternoon in downtown Halifax. Patio season was great.
• Our amazing trip out to Golden B.C. I wish we could go back.
• Four years of Bosco! Wow how time flies.

Other awesome things include all the bbq’ing, beers, adventure walks with Bosco and just having a cool breeze at night when sleeping. It never really got that hot except for a few days here and there and now I can’t wait until next summer.
