Celtics 98 Raptors 95 OT

Well today was a real downer in the world of Raptors basketball. First off I found out the game was not going to be on TV and then they lose in overtime.

I had to settle for watching cbssportsline and their live updates for most of the day until JPR came though in the clutch to try and give me a winning experience.

Once the game was down to the end Jamie called and let me listen to the broadcast while he watched. T.J. was dropping threes like mad and I honestly thought they were going to pull it out.

Ray Allen did us in and I called it just before Boston ran their final play. From what was described to me, KG was a monster that could not be stopped.

T.J. and Bosh kept the Raps in the game but in the end they just did not have that third scorer to push them over the top.

It seemed that the slow start in the first half was the problem and for whatever reason they always seem to do that on the Sunday games.

Oh well, the dream of 82-0 is over but I am not that concerned. I am still more angry at the CBC than anything. One of the classic games and we Maritimers had to go without.
