Oh they are going to blame Noel but I am going to pin this one on a higher power. The God of hoops!
Noel may be to blame for a fire at the CBC Building in Halifax.
Firefighters were called to the Bell Road building at about 7:16 a.m. Monday after reports of smoke in the building.
Acting Platoon Chief Steve Auton said the fire appeared to be related to post-tropical storm Noel.
“It appears that during the storm, debris got sucked into one of the ventilation units,” he said.
When the unit turned on Monday morning, the motor overheated and ignited the debris, he said.
The source of the fire was difficult to find because the smoke travelled throughout the building’s ventilation system and the motor itself was enclosed within the duct work.
Chief Auton said the fire itself was small and was quickly brought under control once it was found.
Workers were expected to be able to return to the building shortly after 8:30 a.m

Now the Halifax people had nothing to do with me not seeing the Raptors game but you can never tell how a higher power takes revenge. Take heed for next time CBC. You don’t want your fancy building in downtown Toronto to get destroyed in some weird act. Hmmm you never know.
Stupid TV station.
