Since I started this crazy hobby of blogging a few years ago many of my friends have started there own blogs. I can’t take credit for most but I do feel like I hand some influence in them. So why not promote the hell out of them and try to pass on some hits.
Beer and News - B&N has kind of fallen off the map. With no posts in over a month I am starting to wonder if they even have beer in Calgary anymore. Still it is a funny blog when it does get updated.
Anger MANagement - This is a new blog hot of the word-presses. The grumpy guy writes about everything and anything that pisses him off. So far it is pretty entertaining but the question is how much will he update?
How we Rock - JPR did this blog to show off their trip to the east coast. Is it only for trips to the east coast or will there be more updates one day?
The Penalty Box - This site has turned into a wasteland of blog advertising but I know Josh has it in him to get the sports talk going again. He certainly has strong opinions about everything.
HawkStock - I have been waiting for Edwin to get into the blog world for a long time. The guy can write and he has a lot to say. Mostly sports focused but there is always the chance he will go off on a rant about bartenders who wear sweater vests.
Hoops haven - There are two things J-Bru knows. Music and college hoops. This blog is all about betting on NCAA basketball with weekly picks and insights to making cash on the hardcourt.
Geoffrey’s Periodic Inanities - I would have to say the best written blog I read. The posts are long but full of detailed and well crafted words. The topics range from dating to food and back to dating. Updated now and then but when G decides to share his musings it is worth the wait.
Lord of the fries - This blog has disappeared like a plate of fries would in front of my friend Kevin. He has a real job now and does not have time to write. It is too bad though because we can all learn from his dedication to all things french fries.
Meandering Economics - This blog is about one man’s meandering experience through an economic landscape. Sounds boring right? Well give this site a chance because the guy who writes it knows what he is talking about. I have learned a lot from it and it is more than just numbers and decimal points.
