Utah 92, Toronto 88

That was one of the most painful games I have watched in some time. Two teams with the potential to point up big points and we get a game that looked like the Knicks and Heat from 2001 were playing. Now that being said the defense was not as good as those days but it was just as ugly.

The Jazz kept the lead thanks to some horrible shooting on the part of the Raps and now Toronto is 1-3 at home. Brutal.

Here are the bullets:

  • If Toronto had just shot 40% they would of won because they actually played solid d and rebounded well.
  • Deron Williams is awesome. I can’t choose between whether Chris Paul or him should of been #1 but Atlanta must be hating themselves everyday.
  • Bargnani better find his touch for Italia day on Sunday. It does not seem right that you stink it up on a day when your bobble-head doll is given out.
  • I love T.J. and he was trying but I think he was forcing it too much last night. They could of gotten a better shot at the end.
  • Moon and Hump are giving the Raps exactly what they need. Rebounding, steals and hustle.
  • Hope the Rasho-saurus is okay after turning his ankle.
  • I am already tired of the Capital One commercials and we are eight games into the season.
  • The rotation sems out of sorts. I do like the new starting lineup but the bench is not finding a groove. Maybe give Garbo a shot.
  • Overall the night was summed up by Bargnani getting blocked on a jump shot by someone way shorter than him.
