Toronto at Memphis 8pm ET The Score
Well after a night like last night there is nothing better than getting back out there right away and try to right the ship. Toronto played a good game for about 80% of the time last night but in the end it was a few minutes of not stopping Dirk that led to their loss.
Tonight they get the Grizzlies and that means Pau Gasol. The guy is a monster inside and it will be tough for the Raps weak inside defense to stop him. It is not like they have the Rasho-saurus to body him up so it will be up to Bargs and Moon I suppose.
I have not read if T.J. is back or not but I hope he is. As out of control and crazy he can be at times he has been one of the best Raptors this season. He is the engine at both ends of the floor, also I don’t want to see Martin hit the floor at all.
I know they are only 5-6 and things are not getting off to as good a start as fans hoped but things could be worse (See the Bulls) or things could be just down right stupid (see the Knicks).
It is hard to be patient in a win now culture but I just want Toronto to be good and rolling at the end of the year when it matters. Figure it all out now, get into the playoffs and go from there.
The Raptors always have a hard time in Memphis but the Grizz have a few injuries to deal with. Gasol will get his but I think the Raps can shut down the rest of the team.
I predict Toronto to bounce back and pull out a tight one on the road 102-98.

Update
I just read that Ford is not playing tonight so I wanted to adjust my prediction a little. I am still going to pick the Raps to win but make the final 95-91.
Calderon is going to have to run the show most of the night and I guess I will have to put up with a little Derik Martin.
Good luck Dinos
