Last night Katie and I did something new for us in the city. We went to the Halifax Mooseheads game at the Metro Centre. It was a game between the Mooseheads and the Quebec Remparts.

A pretty exciting game with a lot of action and goals and in the end the Remparts won 5-4 despite the Mooseheads scoring in the last minute of the game to make it close.

Our seats were very good and we could hear the players talking to each other. The place was pretty packed but we had seats around us that were empty so it did not feel that jammed to us.

I did not take my camera because I did not want any hassle from the arena so the photography was left to Katie and her snazzy new phone. I will add a few more shots later on.

I had beer and pizza and Katie had the saltiest popcorn ever and some coke. We would go again for sure and we may even check out a Halifax Rainmen game.

There were a lot of kids at the game blowing horns and overall it was a lively crowd especially when the Moose scored.

I just looked it up and I had no idea that Halifax currently leads the league in points. I would never of guessed by the way they played they were the best team in the QMJHL.
