Phoenix 136, Toronto 123

Well at least we got to watch a lot of scoring and one of the best teams in the NBA do their thing. Not much else can be said about last night’s game at the ACC.

Nash, Barbosa and company showed why they are one of the elite teams and that Toronto has a long way to go. Granted Bosh and Bargnani sat but Phoenix put on a clinic of how to play up tempo hoops.

There was one moment when Hump had that steal and dunk and Parker went in for a layup that could of cut the lead to 11 where I thought they may make a comeback. The bucket did not drop and Nash quickly helped the Suns run the score back up to 20.

Not much else needs to be said.

Other thoughts

  • The Robert Parrish interview was awkward.
  • Nice to see T.J. get his game back. I almost assume his shot is always going to go in.
  • The perimeter defense needs some serious work. They did the same thing in Cleveland a few weeks ago. You can’t let shooters have wide open looks.
  • Who starts next game? T.J. or Jose?
  • Rasho-saurus had a great first half. Where was he after halftime?
  • Moon’s block on Marion was awesome.

Boston and the Big Three next. Sadly the game is only on Raptors TV so once again I won’t get to see the Celtics.
