Toronto at Boston 7pm ET
First of all I just want to say for the second time this season I won’t get to see the Celtics play. The game is only on Raptors TV (which I don’t have) and we all remember what happened the last time Toronto played Boston.
The Celtics are 15-2 and having a glorious season. They have not been this good since Bird, McHale and Parrish were running around in those little short shorts.
It is pretty simple to breakdown tonight’s game. If Bosh and Bargnani play, I think they have a shot. If they don’t play it is pretty much a lock the Celtics win again.
Chris Bosh has missed the last four games after straining his groin. Bosh is still unable to run at full speed, but said days of stretching exercises have strengthened him.
Andrea Bargnani, has missed two games with a hyperextended left knee.
The status of both players is unknown for tonight.
I think Ford and Calderon are Toronto’s advantage tonight. Both can dominate Rondo and whoever else is playing guard for Boston.
Parker, Delfino and Moon will do an okay job on Pierce and hopefully they won’t let Ray Ray shoot wide open threes like the Suns did the other night.
The problem of course is Garnett. They guy is on a mission and nobody is stopping him this year. Rasho can get in his way like a speed bump but without Bosh look for KG to have a big night scoring and on the glass.
The Raptors have lost eight of their last nine visits to Boston.
So for everyone with Raptors TV, enjoy the game. I will be gearing up for Houston on Sunday afternoon. Sadly JPR is in Paris this time so he won’t be able to call me and let me listen to the telecast.
I could always walk the streets in search of a bar that would have the game on but I don’t see a lot of places having the Raptors game on. Oh well such is life.
If B boys play: Boston wins 101-97
If B boys don’t play: Boston wins 103-90
