Good morning everyone, how is the Sunday going so far?
I am up early and taking care of some blogging and wanted to fill you in on how Saturday was in Halifax.
The weather was mild and it actually melted some of the snow away which was nice. I was able to finally get the ice of the sidewalk and the front steps.
The plan early in the week was to do some shopping and as the day approached we kind of talked ourselves out of it.
In the end we ended up heading over to Dartmouth Crossing to do some window shopping and pick up a few things.
The most fun was had at Best Buy for sure.
I always walk around and drool over TVs but this time it was more fun to see Katie do the same. I could see it in her eyes that she really, really wanted to pull the trigger on buying one. Oh well one day soon we will get one. It was a lot of fun to look though.
We hit the pet store and Canadian Tire and got the whole Crossing experience, driving from store to store because they are so far away from each other you can’t really walk.
On the way home we stopped at the gas station on Quinpool. They were selling Christmas trees and we picked one up.

Stuffed it in the car and had it home and set up in no time.
Today it will be the decorating portion and by tonight it will be a Christmas wonderland on Kline Street.
I cooked up some tators and madras sauce in the crock pot so we had that for dinner with some rice. That warmed us up before heading out on the town.
I went with Katie to a play that was put on by a theatre company that Katie volunteers for.
The play was called Living Tall and it was a one man show kind of deal.

It took place at the North Street Church which was not that far from us.
The play was entertaining for the first half but I started to think of other things and never really got what it was about. Oh well it was nice to get out and see a little culture in the city.
We hung around after and Katie talked to some of her friends that she knows through the group.
Home by 9:30 and we ended the evening with catching up on some Weeds.
Pretty good Saturday in Halifax.
Today it is a day of lazy for me. Raptors game at 1:30 and tree decorating. Other than walking Bosco I don’t think I need to leave the house!
