Toronto 100, Atlanta 88
I could go on about how well Ford, Bosh and Calderon played and I could go on about how the Hawks need a real PG bad but the only thing to talk about is T.J. and that nasty hit.
I left work at the start of the fourth when it was in the bag in my estimation and drove home. I got home and turned on the TV expecting to see the last few minutes.
What I saw left a sick feeling in my stomach as the building was silent and there was a huddle around a player on the floor. Then I saw two little legs sticking out at the bottom and I knew then it was Ford.
His history with the back and neck makes us all shiver everytime he hits the floor and after seeing the flagrant foul by Al Horford, I can only expect it to be a serious injury.
I don’t believe Al did it on purpose, he looked liked a scared, little kid right after but at the same time it was so not needed. His swipe at the ball was so hard that he must of been trying to block the shot ino the upper deck. Al Horford is a very large man and T.J. as you all know is not much bigger than a teenager.
I hope for the best, the latest reports are that he can move everything so that is great news.
The game comes second even though it was a good one. Before the foul T.J. was killing the Hawks al by himself, displaying the full Ford arsenal. Sad it had to end like that.
Get better T.J. we are all pulling for you.
