Boston at Toronto 1pm ET
Well it is finally here, a game that I think means a lot in the big picture for the Raptors. They are finally getting it together and stringing some wins together and now they get the team that they need to beat in their house on a Sunday afternoon.
Bring it Boston.
That first game of the year between these two showed that Toronto could ball with the Green and it took a three in OT at the buzzer by Ray Allen to beat them. Guess who might not be playing today because of a sprained ankle? Yep Ray Ray.
Do I have any sympathy for them going into the game with just the Big Two? Hell no. Toronto got destroyed a few weeks ago by Boston and a lot of it was because Toronto played without Chris Bosh.
If Toronto wants to have any hope of repeating as division champs, it starts today. The ACC crowd will have a holiday lather going with the first place Celtics in town and the crowd is ready to blow the roof off the joint if Toronto plays like it has the last four games.
I am very excited to park myself on the couch and watch this one today. It has the makings of a classic and I think the Raps have a real chance of taking it.
Call me crazy, or maybe I am still drunk from my staff xmas party on Friday but I am predicting the Raps win.
Behind a full team effort I am calling for a 95-90 win by the guys in red and white. Talk about an early Christmas present to all of us who love the Dinos.
