Toronto at New Orleans 8pm ET
The Raptors will end the year in style either in a win or a loss. Being in New Orleans for one of the biggest party nights of the year will be even sweeter if they can beat a very tough Hornets team on the road.
Nobody is talking about the Hornets but that are one of the best teams out west and they have a budding superstar in Chris Paul.
Paul will be a tough matchup without T.J. and the Hornets have strong boarders and a great three point bomber in Peja.
Toronto has to play better than they did the other night or they will get run out of the gym. David West is a super athlete who will match Chris Bosh so it will be up to the others to step up.
Calderon brings it every night so Parker, Delfino and mostly Bargnani need to have big nights for win.
New Orleans has lost seven of its last nine games against Toronto, including four of five at home. So that is one thing in Toronto’s favour.
I think the Raps will play better than Saturday night but I think the Hornets are too good to lose at home to Toronto. Everyone will want to get the game over so they can go party.
The thought of Chuck Swirsky out on the streets of New Orleans is a creepy image.
The Hornets take this one 105-95 and the Raps will start 2008 with a .500 record.
