Detroit at Toronto 7pm ET

Of course the Raps finally get on ESPN and they have to play the Pistons. All of America will be seeing this team for the first time and they are going against the hottest and maybe the best team in the NBA.

Talk about a challenge for the Raptors.

The Raptors are coming off a 3-4 trip against Western Conference foes capped by Monday’s 97-92 win in New Orleans.

I hope the team brings their A game and starts off fast. Getting the ACC crowd behind them early will be key.

Expect some energy from Carlos Delfino who will be playing his former team for the first time.

Toronto always has trouble with Rasheed Wallace on the inside so I hope that Bargnani can help out on the boards.

I am really looking forward to the coverage on ESPN and to hear what they have to say about my team. It is always nice to see what the so-called experts have to say and to get a break from good ‘ol Chuck.

I would love to call the upset but I can’t. This is a statement game for Toronto but it seems when those games come along they don’t show up. Against a veteran team like Detroit you have to show up and compete. Otherwise you will be looking at a 20-30 point blowout faster than you can say Joey Graham.

Detroit will win this one 97-75. Ouch! I know it hurts to say it.
