When I was asked to do a little diddy on how to fix my Knicks, I admit I was hesitant. How can I, as a self-proclaimed basketball nut, possibly come up with ways to turn things around for my beloved squad from Madison Square?
Here are five things I came up with that may just help fellow NY fans look forward.
1. Fire Isiah Thomas
The man single handedly killed the long-running CBA, and we all know what he has done in New York! This is everyone’s No. 1 pick on how to change things so I won’t elaborate and bore you, but I do have two words - Ronaldo Balkman…
2. Trade Trade Trade!!!
Trade everyone and fast! Kobe Bryant has always said he’d love to play in NY, so why not offer L.A. whatever in the hell they want for this guy? Because Isiah doesn’t want another rapist (allegedly) in the Big Apple. No, seriously, why not Kobe?
3. Buyout Malik Rose
Rose will make almost $15 million (total) this year and next. Nobody will ever take him in a trade, so why not buy out his contract and free up room for a young minimum wage forward?
4. Fire James Dolan
Hiring a Pres and GM that actually know the sport of basketball can only help right?
5. Let Jay-Z buy the team
The man wants to move the Nets to Brooklyn, so why not let him buy the Knicks? Everything this guy touches turns to gold!

* Trade Curry, Build around Randolph on the block..He isn’t ideal but atleast he rebounds unlike fatass Eddy.
*Wait until next season when Marbury is 20 mil expiring and try and move him
* ^^ Same with Malik Rose as he will be a valuable 7 mil expiring
* Try and move Q ASAP
I think it all starts at the top. Nothing will happen til Dolan is gone.
The way the Knicks got into this mess was by trading for overpriced players that had long term contracts.
If the Knicks try and move a Q or a Starbury, they will end up with another overpaid player that isn’t good enough to play.
Who on the Knicks would the Lakers move Kobe for? Eddy Curry? Hardly.
Isiah duped Dolan into taking any contract that the rest of the league didn’t want. Sadly for Knicks, fans the only way to fix it is bite the bullet and let these huge contracts expire and then spend correctly.
This will be a tough long streak of losing. Lucky for the Knicks, they will be drafting in the top of the draft for years to come.
So they should stop trading picks for gumballs like Eddy Curry.
I can’t believe they traded Channing Frye
