One thing that really passes the time for me while looking for work is reading and cooking. As I have mentioned before it is important to find the time to do the things you enjoy so you don’t stress 24/7 about the job hunt.

Yesterday we pulled out the cook book and I found this tasty recipe that we had last night. It is for beef fajita burgers.

Not that difficult but it made the house smell great and tasted even better. It is pretty much making home made burgers and adding all of the stuff you have when eating real fajitas.

Add some salad, a few glasses of wine and a slice of blueberry pie for dessert and that is what I call a Saturday evening!

Katie was about as full as I have seen her in sometime but it was a “good full”. I will be making those again and maybe next time I will try the chicken version.
