Toronto at Detroit 7:30pm ET

Well it figures, the Raps get a nice three-game winning streak going and they run into the Pistons at home. What makes it even worse is the Pistons are coming off a stinker where they lost to the Knicks.

So to extend the streak to four the Raptors are going to have a to beat a surly bunch at the Palace tonight. I am not saying it can’t be done but it will take the best game of the year to do it.

The one area that concerns me of course is the rebounding. For weeks I have been pulling my hair out watching this team try to get a defensive board. With the likes of Sheed and Maxiell for Detroit, it will be a real test tonight.

The key for Detroit is always the guards. Billips and Hamilton are as good as they get and Toronto always seems to let one of them kill them. AP has been playing really strong lately so maybe he can make Rip work off some energy on the defensive end.

It will be Carlos Delfino’s first game in front of his old fans. I would really like to see him stick a few threes and continue to play the way he did on Sunday.

I am crossing all my fingers and toes that Bargnani can stay on the floor long enough to do something. He has been a foul machine over the last few games and that has to stop.

As long as Bosh and Calderon keep playing like they have been I can see this game staying close. The question is when the fourth starts, will Toronto be able to hold their own or will the Pistons do their thing and take over? We shall see.

I am picking the Pistons to win a tight one 89-81.

I wonder what they are saying over at Need4Sheed today?
