As the week comes to an end it is harder and harder to motivate myself to do the things I should be doing. Friday is close and the weekend is right after that.

I had a list witten down and everything on it seemed possible since I did not have anything else to fill my day. Well it is just after 5pm and I can safely say I did not do much of it.

I went over the job sites but not as close as I normally would. They all seem to blend together after reading the same ones day after day. Nothing really jumped out at me so I fired a few resumes around to local companies and called it a day in regards to the hunt.

Laundry did not get done (again) and the mess in the guest room will live for another day.

I kind of had what you would call a “me” day.

After walking Bosco and getting him tired out I came home with lunch on the brain. The cold weather had my stomach panging for something cozy and comforting.

What better than two grilled cheese sandwiches with prosciutto melted on the inside. Now that is comfort food in my world. The first half of my life was based on grilled cheese sandwiches everyday and they never disappoint.

I added some ketchup and chips on the side and enjoyed.

To go along with the lunch I fired up a movie. Today’s feature was 3:10 to Yuma starring Russell Crowe and Christian Bale. I have heard mixed things about this film so I was not sure what to expect.

In the end it was not great but it certainly was not bad. It was a western with some decent acting although the end was less than thrilling.

Once the movie was over I took care of some blog stuff which included looking up some recipes for tomorrow.

I am going to make meatloaf and wanted to double check what I needed from the store.

With list in hand I headed down to the Schtooper Store and picked up a few things. As usual I picked up more than I went for but I think that is how a grocery store trip goes.

So now I have everything I need for meatloaf, mashed potatoes and broccoli.

At this point the day seemed to be going on forever and it was only 3:30pm. I had a tea and watched some TV and now I am waiting for Katie to come home from work.

It is starting to stay light out a little longer each day. Today it lasted until around 5:15pm. That is a great thing to see.

Tomorrow is the last day of the looking for work week so I will try to do a lot and get some more resumes out. It is a good feeling to send out a bunch and see if any stick.

It certainly makes it a little more interesting when the phone rings now.

Until tomorrow, have a great night.
