It is easy to look back at any draft and pick the players that you should have taken. But believe me, I have been singing this song for a long time.

BC is Teflon, he could have drafted anyone and no one would question it.

I half expect them to make him the next Leafs President. Don’t laugh.

4th quarter against the Sixers and Bargnani has 3 fouls in 10 minutes with 3 points. At least we didn’t draft Morrison.

Calderon was not as good then. Not bankable anyways.

It sucked that Toronto got the #1 pick in a year with no obvious choice.

BC would of been destoyed for picking Roy #1.

Funny thing about the 5th pick is that Atlanta took Shelden Williams with it. They felt they couldn’t use Brandon Roy with Joe Johnson on the roster. Laughable.

From what I remember, BC was trying to move to the 5th pick in exchange for Josh Smith. How good would Atlanta look with Aldridge and Horford?

I never minded the trade for TJ. The team needed a PG. What I really hated was the Jalen Rose and the 20th pick for the Antonio Davis’ expiring contract.

BC could have kept the 20th pick and drafted Rajon Rando or Marcus Williams. Either of them would have been a great player along side Calderon. Then they wouldn’t have needed to trade for TJ and still would have CV.

yeah, there really is no excuse to have gotten Bargs so high. No one would have grabbed him ’til maybe the 5th spot, and we could have had another pick or player out of that deal.

I haven’t given up on Bargs either, but I don’t believe that he is a good fit for our team as it stands right now. He is a huge liability on defense and rebounding. They (the top brass) traded away CV for TJ , spinning the story that CV & CB4 wouldn’t make a good team. So instead they grab Bargs. Bargs who wasn’t even considered a center in the Euroleague. At least CV gave us some rebounding.
