Good Sunday morning everyone. It is a very snowy day here in Halifax so far. I am not really sure when the downfall started because it was a calm and somewhat mild evening when I went to bed around 1am.

Makes for a relaxing, stay at home Sunday on Kline.

Last night we went out on the town to celebrate my Survivor bet win. I chose a new place we had not been to yet and in the end I was happy I did.

We went to Taj Mahal down on South Street by the Westin Hotel (Henry House for my parents). It specializes in Northern and Southern Indian cuisine.

I really enjoyed the decor and the level of comfort in our big booth. It was just loud enough for us and other than the constant foot traffic going back and forth by us it was ideal.

We decided to order two dishes and spilt rice and naan bread.

We ordered the chicken kashmiri rogan josh and the chicken taj murg tika masala.

I had a beer and a mango shake while Katie had a pop and a mango shake. At first the strong flavour of the shake made my face pucker up a little but in the it was perfect to cool the mouth from the spicy flavours of our meal.

The naan was so fresh and tasty I think I could of just had that as a meal.

We both did a pretty good job at eating most of the food but in the end we had to wrap up some of it to go. Perfect for a snack on Sunday.

I really enjoyed the food and the whole dining experience. When my parents are back in town I think we will have to go there again and try some of the other dishes.

After a quick drive home it was time to watch the remainder of the Raptors game. Sadly this was a let down as you may of already read on the blog. The game was a joke and I was glad I could zone out and daydream about the meal I just had.

Today there is not much going on. Katie will be relaxing as much as possible before heading back to SJ for work this week. I will enjoy as best I can one more day before going back to the job hunt and Bosco will most likely be having a blast in the fresh snow.

Later on I will be making the meatloaf dinner I said I was going to make on Friday. It got postponed because Katie went out after work with some friends. Seems a little more suited for today. The snow, the relaxed and lazy day. What better day to have meatloaf, mash and pie for dessert.
