Nothing Nice to Say Edition

6. Badly Drawn Boy, People seem to love or hate this guy. I think he makes pretty good soundtrack music. If the rumours are true about Ryan Reynolds, he’s one of the luckiest dudes around.

5. Supergrass, Any band who wears their love for T Rex on their sleeves is OK with me. These guys have always amused me.

4. The Dears, Once in a while I get an album and I just don’t listen to it for a long time. This is a perfect example of “new to me”. Love the track and the video.

3. Robbers on High Street, I have to admit, I know nothing about this band, other than the fact that they recorded with Italian film composer Daniele Luppi. Mr. Luppi is a student of the spaghetti western. This video is pretty slick too.

2. Silversun Pickups, This band rocks my world. They play a lot with Mrs. Jack Black. This track is also “new to me”. Due to the odd vocal styles, these guys are usually labeled as an “acquired taste”.

1. Les Savy Fav, These guys are no strangers to the Pix. I think this is their third appearance. I’ve loved everything I’ve heard by them and their videos are pretty imaginative.
