Milwaukee at Toronto 7pm ET
I don’t know about you but I am still stuck on Wednesday night, revisiting the big win over the Celtics. I have managed to block out all of the turnovers and simply have a highlight pack of jumpers and big plays looping in my head. I wish I could post it on Youtube because it is a sweet thing to see.
Okay, snap back to reality, oh here comes……Milwaukee??
Yep after a huge win put wind in the sails of the S.S. Raptor, that same wind could blow away tonight if the team does not bring the same energy and intensity to the ACC.
The Bucks are bad we all know that but they are still a NBA team and on any given night they can bite you in the ass. The Bucks have talent and speed and can score points so there is no reason to think it will be a gimme.
Toronto I am almost positive will do a better job with the turnovers tonight. The medical staff may of even gone to the lengths of attaching velcro to some of the Raptors player’s hands.
The rebounding is still the X-Factor. Andrew Boget is a beast and if you don’t throw one or two bodies on him he will clean the offensive glass like a window washer in downtown TO.
Michael Redd is the guy, the man, that makes the Bucks tick. I am sure he will see a lot of AP and Carlos tonight and hopefully he does not get in a zone, or use some of this cologne that is going around the league.
I am sure we all remember the joke of a game the Bucks put on the team back in November when the club was 100% healthy. Yeah I don’t see that happening again.
So what Raptors team should we expect tonight?? That is kind of the problem. I would love to assume it will be the same team from Wednesday but it could also be the same team from Saturday.
Until some consistent play is developed I am not sure about a long winning streak as some of the Toronto papers are suggesting. I am inclined to think the team will continue to be a two steps forward one step back kind of group until T.J. is back or a deal is made to push the club ahead.
Now that being said, this seems to be the best time to make a little run and separate from the crowd. A lot of home games coming and against teams the Raptors should beat.
We know Bosh, Calderon and Parker will give it all again tonight and fill the stats sheet with goodness but who else will. Will Bargnani do it again (PLEASE!), will Carlos go back to a zero again? Can Kapono, Moon or Hump give the team anything tonight?
I am going to predict a yes on most of those and I am going to predict a big win for the Raptors tonight.
Everyone will get their pizza in a 107-98 win. Book it!

a mini run b4 the ASB is very necessary. i figure the raptors can take 6 of the 9 (losing one of the washington games, against the lakers, and against the spurs). giving us a record of 29-22. I can totally live with that.
Yeah there is no way they win both Wizards games.
I like them to beat the Lakers actually.
Bucks aren’t that bad. To be honest, Michael Redd might actually be the reason they are losing. Crazy thought? Not really. Imagine if we had Bosh and Bargs firing on all cylinders, yet Calderon and AP took all the shots and don’t bother throwing the ball into the post. That what the Bucks have. Selfish guard play is hurting the Bucks.
Yes I can see that. Charlie V, Yi and Bogut can’t bring the ball up themselves.
No they can’t , but they can’t wait for it either while getting off maybe 25 shots between them when the guards are taking 40 to 50 shots.
Ask / read what Milwaukie fans think about Redd.
Maybe they have a little Mike James issue going on there?
cuzzy > lol, looks like it
hopefully it works in our favor.
~ Why is the sun up, and me stuck in a cubicle! ARG
Bucks played last night. That should help.
Redd played 46 minutes against the Pacers.
He should be rimming out for stretches.
If not. It could be another tough match up like last time.
