Toronto 106, Milwaukee 75
Salami and cheese after three quarters! That is all you need to know about tonight’s game. If you tuned in for the second half you saw all you needed to see. The Bucks packed it in coming out of the locker room and for once the Raptors stepped on their throat. No sign of a comeback in this one.
Toronto should beat teams like the Bucks like this. The Raptors on paper don’t have that much more talent but they certainly play as a team. I have a lot of questions about the Bucks and where they are headed. Michael Redd was awful.
Some of the comments on the blog on Friday were right on the money about Redd. He just looks for his own shot and does not care about doing anything else. Of course if they are going in it is great but if it was like tonight, it was just ugly. Could they even consider moving him? Charlie V was into this game and feeling it but the Bucks had him on the bench in the third just as the game was slipping away. Makes no sense. Bogut is a beast and needs more touches.
What can you say about Chris Bosh. The guy is having a month that very few ballers have. He is averaging around 30 points a game in January and shows no signs of letting up. He is doing it all and being a leader at the same time. The future looks very bright in Toronto with CB4 locked up.
Calderon and Parker had great games again and this time it was Delfino who was the extra mustard. He continues to shoot well and was even taking it to the hole. He had a spring in his step that I would like to see more of.
Bargs, ah he was having an off night scoring wise but I think he was working hard on defense which is fine by me. He was rebounding and doing his best on most plays. I love to see him drive hard and even when he doesn’t score, good things happen.
Every Raptor who played scored tonight. The fans got their pizza and Chuck and Leo got to chit-chat for an entire quarter without any stress of a loss. Talk about a perfect night in Toronto.
Other notes
- Typical TSN to start the show talking about the GOD DAMN LEAFS.
- Typical TSN to show Wade Belak courtside. At least we got to see his lady do a shimee of some kind.
- Why does Jose Calderon always get everyone Gatorade at half time? C’mon guys, he is the man, get his!
- I was up off the couch when Jamario had that steal. The layup was smooth but I was ready for a cram.
- Does anyone else find Ka-Bosh a little weak?
- Great shot of BC showing off his visa bill.
- Rasho should patent the back-tap. He is the king of that.
- Raps still need some work on the glass.
- How many of you wish you could see the Raps going bowling tomorrow?? Tall, gangly guys chucking heavy balls.
- Seems like a week until the next game.

Good win! Especially after a big win vs the Green Giants (I can’t believe the flippin’ Timberwolves let the C’s win tonight). Our Raps are notorious for having big wins followed up by bad loses. Not tonight!
Not to take anything away from the Raps (and CB4’s amazing performance) but, thank you Mr. Williams and Mr. Redd
Makes me appreciate Calderon, AP & TJ even more!
LOL, Milwaukee has issues and I hope we’re going to be one of the teams to take advantage of their (imminent) front court departures. I would take anyone of Bogut, Yi, or even CV back. (I keep wondering why they won’t play the 3 of them together).
[...] dinner it was Raptors time. The game was not that exciting but I will take a 30 point win any day. Takes the stress off the whole situation and God knows [...]

we didn’t see wade belak courtside, but they put thurman thomas on the jumbotron, people gave him a loud ovation, and he didn’t look to impressed. his expression didin’t change, and he just flashed a peace sign.
Yes Rod Black hounded him into an interview as well.
