Well, mine's definitely not worse, but I have had the "out of that" thing happen at Tim's.
They have their little special yummy things that they blast all over the tv at least a couple times an hour, then you go to get it and they're "out of it". I've had this happen numerous times a few years back with their White Chocolate Macadamia Nut cookies, they were "sold out" even at 9:00 in the morning....this was before it was admitted by Tim's that their stuff was no longer baked fresh from scratch on site, but that was my first sign of that fact because how could you be all out of something you are supposed to be making lots of fresh all day long?
The other thing was those lemon donuts they blasted all over the tv last year. It had been a good year or two since I had even touched a donut, but the commercials for those lemon ones got the better of me, I had to go to 3 Tim's before we found one that had any.

That no chicken at Swiss Chalet takes the prize though. We used to eat there all the time but won't anymore, the last several times we went the service was absolutely dreadful, and their chickens keep getting smaller too. The last time we went there a half chicken dinner was the size a 1/4 chicken dinner used to be, and they used to fill up the remainder of the plate with fries, now they give you only about a dozen or so. I mean I know food portions have got bigger then they should be these days, but if you're paying for a full plate of food, you want a full plate of food.

<em>Jolene's last blog post..<a href='http://junodesigns.blogspot.com/2008/04/peeeeeeve.html' rel="nofollow">Peeeeeeve</a></em>

I don't any Timmy's incidents....yet, but I do have a "Sorry Sir, we are out of chicken" at a Swiss Chalet! I'm no business genius, but I think it would be important to have an ample supply chicken at Swiss Chalet.

Well just this morning, I ordered a sausage and egg bagel and it was keyed in as a BELT with sausage. I just happened to catch it on the order queue screen all the way back in the kitchen before I made the debit transaction, and it was corrected.

Couldn't they have put a sheet of paper up front saying they were out of eggs? Or heaven forbid, cook their own eggs?
