Good morning how the hell are you? Not so good if you are a Patriots fan eh? Wow I have to say for not being a big football fan I found the Super Bowl very exciting and great to watch. I did not even have any of the good commercials because I am in Canada. We just got endless promos for the Grey Cup, new CTV shows and the occasional one with dudes going down stairs.

Eli was amazing at the end and it was so sweet to watch the Pats lose. They were so God damn smug when they went ahead with a few minutes to go. It was great to see the Giants pull off one of the best upsets ever. Finally a Super Bowl game that was worth seeing and remembering.

It was one of the first real tense games I have watched where I did not fall prey to chewing on my nails. You see I have now gone eight days without a nibble and for me that is probably the longest ever. I will do a post about it once I have the time. I figure if I keep telling the world that will help me think twice about going to town.

The day leading up to the big game was a nice and relaxing one in Halifax. Sunny day but still cold enough to want to stay inside.

I spent a lot of the morning working on the blog and setting up some more fun features that I hope will suck in even more traffic eventually.

Katie went to the mall to do a little shopping and I checked out some of the Mavs/Pistons game. We both had the parents phone call and caught up with them and basically took it easy all day.

I got the bug in my head that I needed to change something up so I have been working on making our guest room/bosco’s room more of something we will use. Kind of like a second TV room. I will finish that up this week so when Katie gets back from Saint John she will be pretty amazed…….I hope.

For dinner Miss Rock brought out the mad culinary skills. She made pork chops with this amazing sauce with onions and spices and a potatoe salad on the side. I wanted to take a picture of the dinner because it looked restaurant fancy but of course the camera died.

The chops were great, very little fat and there are leftovers for me this week! Great meal to lead into a football game.

Not much else going on. Back into the swing of things today. Looking for a job and working on the blog so it can one day make enough money that I can retire haha.

Have a great day and if you are a Giants fan, live it up!
