I have been writing for various blogs for over two years and I feel I have learned a lot of skills and tips. For those of you who have been reading the posts and following the progression of Cuzoogle or The Chocolate Dog Blog, you have noticed a lot of changes and implementations of new ideas.

Last week the biggest and most difficult move was made. I finally transferred Cuzoogle over to a domain name that I own and a host server.

I really should of done it many, many months ago so I could of avoided what will be the hardest part of the new project. I had a solid base of traffic and my posts were in google and linked everywhere. You would be shocked to see just what search requests bring people to Cuzoogle.

Now because I have changed the address of the blog, I will lose all of that and have to start over. It won’t take that long because the same posts will build up in google eventually but it will take time and work.

Seeing as I just went through this giant move I thought I would start to share my experiences. What I found easy, what I did wrong and what I still would like to learn.

I know there are probably many non-tech people out there who would like a blog that is a little more advanced and I will certainly try to help you out.

There are a lot of great resources and helpful people on the Internet making very few things impossible.

So please check in now and then and see the how the next step is going or what I am stuck on this week. Most of the base work is complete and as you can see by the finished product it looks much more professional and customized than before.

It is an addiction/passion working on this blog and I hope you can feel that when you read something on it.

I will post So You Want to be a Blogger? Part 1 in the coming days.

Thanks and keep reading.
