San Antonio 93, Toronto 88

To start with I may not of been so bold in picking the Raps to win this morning if I had known Sam would not be coaching. That being said the Raptors had a chance to win this game but the same old issues came to the surface again.

Rebounding and not stopping the hot player on the other team hurt Toronto in front of the crowd at the ACC. I should not be suprised that the Spurs toyed with Toronto all night so why do I still think they could of won that game?

Jose Calderon was the lone bright spot tonight. He was off the charts and maybe he was reading Gilbert Arenas’ blog??

The Spurs had no answer for the Spanish Flea and if he would of shot more, the Raps may of won.

I tired and annoyed so I am going to go to bullet mode.

  • Alberto European styling outplayed all the Raptor bigs.
  • Manu was hot but the Raps were not exactly in his face much. Just like Maggette the other night, they can’t stop the guy who is feeling it.
  • Ford not coming in was a bit of a shock but I am not going to read anything into it.
  • I like Barg’s post defense. He is really trying.
  • Delfino is a little wild on the drives but it was working in the fourth.
  • I am getting tired of Chuck, who knew it would take 40 odd games.
  • More Hump, is he is the dog house?
  • Moon is really out of gas. If only he was going to have a break on the weekend.
  • Every time the Raps were a shot from being tied they just could not put one down.
  • Katie wants to know why the hell can’t anyone get their own Gatorade at halftime. Bargs if Jose offers you a drink, you take it.
  • D-Mart dressed to play? Ha ha good one.
  • Man BC had the evil face going tonight.
  • How many times this season has the game been on the line and the Raps don’t get a rebound. There needs to be a stat for that cause Toronto would lead the NBA.
  • When Ford is back to normal, playing the two PGs at the same time could be deadly.
  • Rasho shows up, does his thing, goes home. Does the guy speak?
  • I don’t care what the Raptors TV crew did on their day off. Hey guys, want to know about my day? Did not think so.
  • Time to gear up for VC.
