We live just doors down from a popular resaurant in Halifax, Nova Scotia called Milano’s. It is the only bring your own wine place in town and is very busy Thursday-Saturday. The downside to all this is they do not have parking. So our street is always filled with cars that are dining at the trendy spot.

Over the time we have lived here on numerous occasions we have had to deal with cars parking out front in spots that clearly have no parking signs. There is a space that could fit the smallest of cars but on many occasions larger cars and even SUV’s have parked there making it almost impossible for us to pull into or pull out of our driveway.

I have gone over to Milano’s a few times and asked them to find out who the owner was and for them to move the car. I am tired of doing this and the next time we are blocked I will just be caling to have it towed.

This is an example on the weekend of what I am talking about. We did not have to go out so I never acted on it but it just goes to show how rude and inconsiderate some people are. I just want to mention that it may not always be people dining at Milano’s but so far that has been the case.

People of Halifax you have been warned and if I do happen to see you, I will be adding you to the list.

May 21, 2007 - No action taken as we were not going anywhere


May 23, 2007 - Not much I could do about this one!


May 31, 2007 - Silly Mailman!


June 2, 2007 - Some guys unloading wood, we were not going anywhere.


June 6, 2007 - Repeat offender finally caught. Lucky for him I am in for the night.


June 7, 2007 - Repeat offender. Asked them to move and they did.


July 14, 2007 - I asked them to move, they did.


July 17, 2007 - They moved before I had to deal with it.


August 3, 2007 - Called the number on thevan and asked them to move.


August 3, 2007 - They moved before I had to deal with it.


August 3, 2007 - They moved before I had to deal with it.


August 19, 2007 - Moved before I had to do anything.


August 25, 2007 - Repeat offender. He is actually one of the owners of Milano’s. You would think he would know better.


August 27, 2007 - Maybe the worst one ever. They moved before I had to do anything.


August 27, 2007 - Actually got into an argument with this woman who could not get what was wrong.


Oct 12, 2007 - Had to go to Milano’s, asked them to move.
