Toronto 109, New Jersey 91

First off can you believe the trade might not happen because of some loser using his no trade clause. Amazing.

Well it all worked out for Toronto. Playing the Nets without Jason Kidd is like going against CTU without Jack Bauer.

I picked a pretty low score yesterday but of course without Kidd I knew Toronto would go well over 100.

Right out of the gate the Raps looked into it and pretty much were in control the whole night. Not that much to go into when breaking down this one. The Nets had their head cut off before playing and looked lost and like they did not care that much.

I mean Carter generally looks like that all the time but RJ looked like he had lost his best friend and other than a wicked drive and dunk, he looked nothing like what he normally does against the Raps.

Bosh and Calderon were awesome and that was all that was needed on this night.

Thoughts

  • Chuck was seriously pissed during their conversation about who the best in the West was.
  • I am loving Il Muggo’s energy, defense and effort.
  • Moon seemed to come alive in this game. He must be very excited about this weekend.
  • Calderon’s one-timer shot that did not count was amazing.
  • I think Gatorade has to lock up Jose for a commercial handing out the drink.
  • Who else thinks that Chuck’s new favourite word is “burn”?
  • Again, we don’t care that much about the crew.
  • Nice to see my bud Edwin get a lot of camera time at the table.
  • Why even boo Carter, he does not even earn it anymore.
  • Let is all enjoy the break and come back strong and hungry for more.
