Toronto 127, Orlando 110

Okay that headline is a little harsh but it got me thinking of an old Our Lady Peace song. Clearly Dwight Howard is not dead unless Stan Van tossed him out of the plane on the way out of Toronto last night. Other than a fourth quarter that was closer than it should of been, the Raptors totally dominated the Magic right from the tip at the ACC. I stayed up late to watch the Suns and Lakers (now that is hoops) so I did not get to much of a recap until now. I am already behind in my day so you will have to settle for some bullets. Trade deadline today, I wonder if there will be a move?

  • Bosh was amazing. He was hitting shots from everywhere including a three that I knew was going in as soon as he let it go. 40 points and he hardly missed a shot. Franchise indeed.
  • Calderon is being automatic and a calming influence on the Raptors. He is becoming very clutch and when he shoots I always assume it is going in. When he takes a bad shot or makes a bad pass he scolds himself before anyone else can say a thing. Gotta love that.
  • Lucky the Raps put up 127 points and won because Bargnani was stinky.
  • As I mentioned yesterday, never underestimate what the Rasho-saurus can bring to a game. He may never smile but he knows his job and does it.
  • I like Delfino playing the point, okay he made a few bad plays but it is better than watching D-Mart do it.
  • Did Orlando play any D in that game? How are they third in the East?
  • That game very easily could of been going the other way. Toronto hit shots and Orlando did not. Not much hard-nosed defense to speak of.
  • Jamario Moon welcome back. If he can do exactly that every game I will be one happy guy.
  • Chuck wanting Chris Bosh hair? That sounds like a photoshop project.
  • I agree with the Arsenalist, stop calling out the TV crew Chuck. I know a few of the guys and know exactly what they do. They don’t like the constant chatter either. They are doing a job, no special props for that.
  • Dwight Howard will be unstoppable very, very soon. Can the Magic get him a real point guard?
  • Rashard Lewis is not worth 126 million. Sure he can shoot but so can Kapono.
  • Speaking of the three-point champ. He needs more time to get going.
  • Hoping Ford shakes the injury bug soon.
  • Please don’t lose a game to the Knicks, please!
  • The first three quarters were as well as I have seen the Raps play all year. If you take those first three quarters and add on the fourth quarter in the win over the Celtics, it would be the perfect game.
