Toronto at Indiana 7pm ET

Two games in two night, now this is what I am talking about. The writers are still working on new shows so I am pleased that there is ball on to fill the evening TV sked.

The Pacers are banged up and are not a very good team. Easy win for the Raptors? In theory yes but we all know what happens when we think the game is a lock and start dreaming of a lengthy winning streak. Hopefully the Raptors learned something on Friday when they lost a game to the Knicks they never should of lost. Short of Larry Bird coming out of retirement and taking the floor tonight, the Raps should win in the Hoosier state.

Sunday night’s game was ideal when having to play the next night. Bosh did not have to play much, Calderon got some serious relaxation time and Andrea Bargnani remembered how to drive to the bucket.

A deep bench really helps out during a long NBA season and tonight is the type of game the benefits should be seen. The last time the Raps played in Indy it was Jason Kapono having one of his best games of the year.

Expect more of the same tonight as well as more playing time for T.J. Ford and new Raptor Primoz Brezec. The young center looked very comfortable and like he was having a lot of fun playing for the Raps on Sunday night.

The Pacers, losers of 11 of their last 14 games, are also coming off a split of a home-and-home series. They lost 102-91 at New Jersey on Saturday after winning 113-103 on Friday.

Indiana is 11th in the East, but only 2 1/2 games behind eighth-place Philadelphia.

Danny Granger is a star in the making and should be the only Pacer worth paying special attention to. With out O’Neil in the middle or Tinsley at the point the Pacers will be hard pressed to keep up with Toronto.

The teams will close out their four-game season series there on Friday.

I am expecting a close game but in the end one of the Raptors bench players will make an impact that will put Toronto over the top. Raps win 101-95.
