Mary Ann equals mary jane

Nope this is not a girl on girl story gone wrong.

Dawn Wells, who made sweet Mary Ann on Gilligan’s Island her own, was busted for dope.

The details: in Driggs, Idaho, on October 18, 2007, Dawn was driving back from a birthday party (for her) when the cops pulled her over for questionable driving — swerving and speeding up then slowing down. When the officer approached, he noticed the distinct smell and asked her if she had marijuana.

According to her attorney, Dawn had picked up some hitchhikers and they were the ones who caused the stink. Deputy Joseph Gutierrez searched the car, found some incriminating evidence, and she was booked for driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, in addition to reckless driving. On February 29, she was sentenced to five days in jail, fined $410.50 and placed on probation for six months after pleading guilty to one count of reckless driving. The other charges were dropped.

I tried not to say it but it sounds like that was quite the three hour tour…….a three hour tour.

Dawn, who will be 70 in October 18th has been living in the Gem State where she is the founder of the Idaho Film and Television Institute.
