Toronto 104, Charlotte 100
Wow that was one of the most boring wins I have ever seen. There were a lot of good buckets, dunks and plenty of scoring so why did it seem like a yawner? Could it be the sparse crowd of 87 people there? That was in Carolina country right? Guess they are all tuckered out from the college tourney. Anyways, Raptors did what they had to on the road and get a big win as they chase the 5 spot in the East. From what I saw (flipped a lot) Bosh and Ford played well and Rasho continues to bring the noise. Sure Charlotte still played tough but this time the Raps had a little CB4 to add to the menu and that was what put them over the top.
Bosh had 32 points and added eight rebounds and five assists for the Raptors. Anthony Parker added 20 points and T.J. Ford added 16, including the clinching free throw with 1.9 seconds left.
Not much to say, I am quite bored with Raptors games these days. Not enough good hoops and way too much Chuck Swirsky. I need a break, I need some rest, I need the playoffs.
Other thoughts
- T.J. had one of his better nights (at least the first Q) and seems to be back to what he was before the bump on the head.
- I have given up with Bargnani. He looks lost and now the new guy is getting in the instead. He was picked No. 1 right? Man can we get a do over on that?
- Kapono, I hear he taking over Darrick Martin’s spot on the team.
- Where would the Raps be without Rasho despite how big his kid apparently is.
- Delfino’s non-dunk was a bad call. It hit Okafor’s arm.
- Will Primoz ever see the floor again?
- Jack is not the best ever but at least he talks about the game and does not try to hard like Leo.
- Chuck picking Washington as a dark horse…..outside of Boston and Detroit the East is a dark pack of horses.
- Overall a decent game, sorry for having no energy to muster up something better.

why the playoff references of late? Hate to break it to you, but it will be the same team playing in the playoffs. Sure, there is some excitement factor, but as a supporter of the club, fans shouldn’t lose sight of the fact that the same 9-10 guys will be playing probably the same level of ball they are now.
I, for one, hope they play exactly the way they are right now. I don’t want Colangelo to have any excuses to fall back on if he makes little or no change to this roster in the summer/fall.
Alt Raps’s last blog post..Raptors Roll Call March 31 vs Bobcats
Oh I am not expecting them to win. I just like the idea of either having them shock us all and win a round or for it to be over and I can stop caring so much haha
These last bunch of games really don’t matter, they are not going to get better and they are in the playoffs anyways, so lets just get to it.
At least then I have the option of watching some good teams play and not see weekly Cavs, Bulls and Heat games.
I hear what you are saying Alt, just did not want you to think I was looking to the playoffs to bring me joy and cheer at least from a Raps point of view.
