A real homer that Swirsky

Raptors win only because the Bucks stink but I will take it. No ground gained in the standings and a big weekend coming up. The only highlight for me will be watching Sunday’s game on ABC where I won’t have to listen to Ch-Eo on The Score. Still not back to full blogging mode so if you want to read about lastnight’s game please head over to The Arsenalist or Raptors Talk for the goods.
I don’t know if the cameras can catch it but from time to time watching the game I swear I see the ghosts of the MLSE hovering over Swirsky’s head. Anyways maybe one day the Raptors will be winners and we can all watch a broadcast wishing for better commentators.

The two remaining games in the regular season schedule that matter are @ Detroit and @ Chicago.
The Pistons will be sending a message that day and if the Raptors can respond in-kind that will be a positive sign … moving forward.
Likewise, the Bulls will not want to lose that last home game to the Raptors, as a pre-cursor to the 2008-2009 season.
Win this game, as well, handily … and it will also create a positive vibe for the team.
The two games vs New Jersey & Miami should be straight-up ‘gimmees’.
khandor’s last blog post..Mis-diagnosing the Raptors, again
I have had dealings with The Swisk back in my college radio days. He would be a guest on my show the Round ball Review. These were in the days the Raptors were REALLY BAD. I can always remember after talking with Chuck I would feel like Raptors chances were better then they were. He is a great guy as a person. I mean he did not have to bother with me or my little college radio show. But that being said as a commentator I have lost more and more respect for him. I think the way he totally turned on Vince Carter and threw him under the Bus was the start of it for me. I mean who hyped Vince more then Chuck other then Vince himself. He has lost tons of respect from me for things he has said. I still will say he is a good human being but as a broadcaster I have lost a ton of respect for him.
