He probably begged to do the Raps game. I did not notice any homerism at all. I have never slighted Jack, he is pretty good and calls a good game. Leo calls a game as a coach but it is like listening to a high school coach compared to someone who has been through the wars. Hubie has been watching, coaching NBA ball forever so what he sees and says is well respected and well thought of. So while he isn't getting paid by MLSE, I think he knows more about the Raps than the average American just keeping up with his roots and his brother Paul. I'm sure there was a little hometown inflection happening. Neither Jack nor Leo have coached in the NBA, but they are both coaches. I don't personally have an issue with either of them. I think they break the plays down quite well and both have spoken up in the past few months on Raptor weaknesses...unlike their cohort. Amazing to watch a team that had a #1 pick and cap room 2 years ago get outplayed by a mostly-new-this-year bench.
