Last night on CBC they aired another one of their Test the Nation quiz shows and this time it was for sports. What they do is form teams of various groups in studio and also allow the viewers at home to play along. As the answers pour in they have a staff crunching the numbers and spitting out a lot of interesting trends and standings.

Personally I think the whole show is a front for market research but whatever.

It was a slow night so I decided to play since I like to think of myself as knowing a lot of sports trivia.

Well it turns out I do and I scored well about the averages in every group.

My final total was 39 out of 50 (78 %) and of the 10 “hard ones” I got eight of them.

By the way they had a team of Sportscasters from all of the major Canadian networks and their average score was only 73.2 %. That is there job to know that stuff.

Here are the statistics from the show and if you want to take the test you find the link on the same page (at the bottom). Keep in mind it is Canadian themed.

Feel free to post your score in the comments section and rub it in my face if you beat me.
