Calderon, Ukic and Adams in

Forget the last post, as expected the point guard position is set for the Toronto Raptors, as they have apparently reached an agreement with restricted free agent Jose Calderon. Gotta love the media getting it up as fast as possible with the “apparently” usage.

Calderon released a statement on his website, indicating that he has a preliminary agreement in place to return to Toronto.

But wait, they Raps were not done……

The Raptors also took steps to fill out the rest of their roster.

According to a report in the Globe and Mail, the Raptors have reached an agreement with former second-round pick Roko Ukic to serve as a backup to Calderon. The 24-year old Croatian has spent the last few seasons playing in Europe and is more mysterious than the Caramilk secret.

Raptors fans have been drooling over this guy ever since he was drafted and now the day will come that we can see him in the red and white.

The report also states that the Raptors have signed former New Jersey Net Hassan Adams.

Adams will likely see some action at the off-guard or small forward spot and hopefully is another steal for BC..

Adams impressed the Raptors at a recent free-agent camp  just as Jamario Moon did last year.

This signing could mean the end of Carlos Delfino’s time with the Raptors. All of the local hair salons will be backed up in product if the native of Argentina leaves town. Besisdes who will jack up all the threes?
