Got this tip from JPR today.
Do you find it painful having to call a restaurant to make a reservation? Are you worried that the booking will get messed up because of a poor phone connection or a misunderstanding?
Worry no more because now there is a website that makes it very easy to book a table at your favourite place to eat.
The site is called OpenTable.com.
It is the world’s most popular website for making restaurant reservations online.
With more than 8,500 customers throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain and Japan, the OpenTable hardware and software system replaces pen-and-paper at the host stand.
It automates the process of taking reservations and managing tables, while allowing restaurants to build robust diner databases for superior guest recognition and targeted e-mail marketing.
I checked out what Halifax has to offer and currently there are only two places that use it but I am sure that will grow. This city tends to be a little behind the technology wave.
Check out if your city and try it out.
