You love her, you miss her, now you can rejoice. Jesse Spano is coming back to TV. After guest appearances on CSI: Miami and Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Elizabeth Berkley is heading over to Showtime where there are not so many rules.

The former Saved By the Bell star will be joining Jennifer Beals on The L Word.

From what I have read Berkley’s L-Word character has a bit of a history with Jennifer Beals‘ character. The two went to college together and Berkley was the straight girl who got away. Ah that old story.

I have never actually seen The L Word but it sounds like there is a chance that Berkley can return to her Showgirls style of acting and have the occasional make out session with girls.

Will it boost her career? Not sure really but it can’t hurt.
