Today is the first day of August. For most of us it is just another day to pay the rent, flip the calendar and try to ignore that feeling of the summer flying by.

But it is also a big day because the new season of Prison Break is now only one month away! September 1 is the day for the big two hour premiere of everyone’s favorite guilty pleasure. Does the show make any sense? Nope. Should it of ended after the first season? Most likely. But we keep watching the idiotic plot lines as if we are holding out hope for it becoming a good show.

I mean come on it has been reported tha that Sara Tancredi, who was believed to have been killed in season 3, will be making a return as a regular cast member. Mr. I need a show badly, Michael Rapaport, is said to be teaming up with Michael and Lincoln and several other characters to bring down the evil Company once and for all. Teabag will be back, fake hand and all and one other new cast member you may not be aware of straight out of the pages of the National Basketball Association.

So who is this cast member that you may not of heard of yet. A little known dirty referee from the NBA. Yep apparently Tim Donaghy (playing himself) just happens to be in the prison that Michael and the boys are trying to bust into. How on earth did that happen? Maybe Lincoln can get some picks, he seems like the betting type.

Check out the poster we found online.

Okay so we made it up ourselves. Did we have you going?

Last season they had that kid wearing the T-Mac jersey so why not add a little more NBA content?. I guess if it were true they would have to get David Stern to play the prison warden.

In all seriousness, this season, instead of an elaborate break out, the gang will be making a break in. Can’t wait to see how Fox advertises that one, it will be worse than ESPN and their Who’s Now BS.

Love it or hate it, Prison Break is back and I for one can’t wait.

This is almost as crazy as the news last summer that Steve Carell was going to play Donaghy in a movie.
