A great way to build links, traffic and win some free advertising and cash

Hey all you Cuzoogle readers are you ready for the NFL season? It sure came up fast. As we wait for the NBA season to roll around we thought it was a good idea to at least get in on the fun that is the NFL. That is why we came up with a little contest that hopefully benefits all who enters.

I won’t bore you all with the full details here but if you contact us and want to join we will send you the full list of rules.

Basically it will be a challenge to see who can pick the most outright winners each week in the NFL.

Instead of entering your name or handle, you enter your blog and that will make up the list of contestants.

Then each week we will post results and rankings and that means a lot of links to your blog each week for others to check out. We will just grab your latest post instead of always using your main URL.

Example:

Cuzoogle 16-0
The Chocolate Dog Blog 14-2
Google 0-16

The blog with the best record at the end of the regular season will be the overall winner. That means you will win a cash prize (more on that in a sec) and get a free 125×125 ad space on Cuzoogle for the duration of the NFL playoffs.

Sound interesting? Well it gets better.

Each weekly winner will get their 125×125 ad posted on Cuzoogle for the duration of the week. So even if you are in last place with no hope of catching first, you still have somethng to play for. We will set up a special location for the Pigskin Picks weekly champ so everyone can see what blog won.

Now for what I need from you to enter.

It will cost $10 (paypal) to enter and that will add up to be the prize money. We are hoping to get 25-30 blogs and the prize money will be broken down into first, second and so on. We will give out the paypal address when you contact us and ask to join.

We will need a 125×125 ad from you in case you are the winner so we can advertise your blog. If you don’t have one and don’t want to make one, we can make you one.

You need to make one post on your blog (don’t care about length) saying you are entering the contest and we will provide you with the links for that when the time comes. Don’t worry about doing this until we let you know when.

You need to subscribe to our RSS feed. It will make it easier to keep track of the contest anyways.

That is about all we need from you. The Cuzoogle interns will do the rest.
