Write about Current Events and Swallow the steady Traffic!
The Beijing Olympics are obviously a hot topic right now, not only in the US, but around the world. Times like these are perfect for you to pick a specific sport or event and follow it daily with updated posts. The more you write about this big event, while embedding it with tons of keywords, the better your chances at Google starting to recognize you as an authority on the subject and dramatically increasing your search engine rankings. Go to Google and type in “google olympics logo” and you’ll see what I mean.
Are you “that blogger”, you know the Annoying one?
A few weeks ago we put together a list of blog rituals that can come off as a little annoying and offensive. It is things like a 100 blog long, blogroll and abusing Twitter that can really turn people off from your blog. Has the growth of your blog slowed or halted? Maybe it’s time to think about some of these things.
