Well finally one of the worst kept secrets in sports is official. The NBA team in Oklahoma City is going to be called the Thunder.

Clay Bennett unveiled the team name, Thunder, and colour on Wednesday.

Even as we post this there are probably many sports bloggers making a mad dash to be the first to have an unofficial blog for the team online. Fun times in OKC.

Have they chosen a mascot yet? If so here is one suggestion.
