All summer we have been getting you hyped for the upcoming NBA season by asking your thoughts on a number of topics. Check out the full list of prediction threads here and voice your opinion.
Today we are asking you to try and pick out a player who is going to have a breakout season. Last year for example Jose Calderon came out of the shadows to play a vital part in the Toronto Raptors season and now is the starting point guard.
Any ideas on who we should keep an eye on this season?

I think Oden’s presence helps Aldridge more than anyone in Portland - big sophomore numbers last year but even bigger this time around.
Similarly, I think Childress’ departure in Atlanta gives Marvin Williams a few more minutes per game and lets him live up to the UNC hype a little.
I like the way Spencer Hawes ended the season in Sacramento last year - he’ll play a big role this year.
I also like a couple of point guards to help their teams exceed expectations - Ramon Sessions in Milwaukee and Marcus Williams in Golden State.
Then again, I was a fan of “Waterworld”, so take my opinions with a grain of salt.
Marvin is a good call.
Atlanta can be a real surprise again or tank.
