Every week T-Roc will share his thoughts on what is going on in college football, make picks and fire back at your nasty comments. Want to learn more about him, check out his first post or visit his archive.

Not much to say this week - I’m kinda bummed. There’s a much better lineup of games this Saturday than any so far in the 2008 season, but I’m missing all of them.

Yup, T-Roc’s rocking a wedding scene with a rustic theme. Picture trees, an occasional moose, coastline, no TVs and frankly, no time for the college game I love so much.

Only one (two?) things to do - get bombed and mack on the single ladies.

You might notice a lack of non-BCS conference games below. I normally love ’em, but I couldn’t help it - I had to have my say about some of the best games I’ll miss while watching friends get hitched in butt-fuck-nowhere.

All numbers are from Pinnaclesports.com from Tuesday night.

Arizona at UCLA, Saturday, 3 p.m. ET: Arizona -2 ½

It’s a sad fucking state of affairs for the Bruins when a middle-of-the-road conference opponent is favoured at the Rose Bowl, but that’s the price of humiliation these days.

The ‘Cats lost last week too, but not nearly as embarrassingly. They’re unlikely to repeat their five-turnover performance and more importantly, Arizona has proved it can score consistently. UCLA has not.

Virginia Tech at North Carolina, Saturday, 3:30 p.m. ET: Virginia Tech +2

UNC blasted the bejeezus out of Rutgers on national TV, but has the whole world forgotten Weeks 1 and 2? The Tar Heels, at home for both games, needed overtime to beat Duke and struggled with McNeese State.

I saw how athletic the Heels looked last Thursday. I know how much weaker the Hokies are than in recent years. But I’m taking the points. Fuck yeah.

Miami at Texas A&M, Saturday, 7 p.m. ET: Miami -4

Kansas and Iowa State each gave me el cheapo paydays last week as a thank-you for my shameless Big 12 love. So is an Aggies loss by a field goal in order this weekend?

Not fucking likely. The Aggies couldn’t hang with the ‘Canes in Miami last year, haven’t improved under Mike Sherman and the uncertainty over Stephen McGee’s status for Saturday doesn’t help. A&M has been long-banished from my harem of Big 12 lovers.

Vanderbilt at Mississippi, Saturday, 7 p.m. ET: Mississippi -6 ½

Vandy’s getting the love as the SEC underdog of the moment, thanks to a nationally-televised home upset of South Carolina, but Ole Miss’s narrow loss at Wake Forest the same week was just as impressive a performance.

The Commodores have gone turnover-crazy (the good way) over the first three weeks. I’ll say it stops this week - Houston Nutt has good things going offensively.

LSU at Auburn, Saturday, 7:45 p.m. ET: Auburn +2 ½

Just last week I reminded myself to forget my summertime predictions. But I can’t help it - I said Auburn would take the SEC West, so getting points at home with Tommy Tuberville on the sideline is too tempting for me.

Auburn’s ugly 3-2 win stands out in bettors’ recent memories. I’ll focus on the “2″ and not the “3″. LSU’s quarterbacks haven’t faced a good defence yet, and the home Tigers’ ‘D’ isn’t good, it’s g-r-r-r-r-r-eat! Fuck yeah - that just happened.

Georgia at Arizona State, Saturday, 8 p.m. ET: Georgia -7

Tough to lay a full touchdown against a Sun Devils team I liked a whole bunch most of last year and this. But the Pac-10’s stinker of a weekend deserves some fallout.

Georgia hasn’t won by less than seven points since its turnaround game in Nashville last October, and that stretch has included a bunch of tough games. Saturday’s the day the Dawgs legitimize their preseason No. 1 love.
