Ever have one of those days when you just are so bored you start doing things just to keep busy. Maybe reorganize the sock drawer or move some furniture around. Well what do you do when you run the NBA and you are bored out of your mind? You start to tinker with your league of course. ESPN5 is reporting that David Stern had a proposal on the table to rename over half of the teams in the NBA for the upcoming season.
That would mean new logos, jerseys, merchandise and building renovations. In the end the commish changed his mind and decided to remodel his kitchen (he was watching HGTV at the time).
Well guess what, that list of names is still on D-Stern’s computer for safe keeping.
Since it never got out we wondered what it would be like to play the same game.
That is where we turn to you, the faithful readers of Cuzoogle. Tell us some teams you think should be renamed and what that name should be. Be crazy and creative. We will post our 10 favorites (include a link to your site if you have one) on Monday. Who knows, Stern may read the post and take your advice.

Kobe and the Gang (like Kool and the Gang)…actually wait, I don’t think David Stern would let anything with any reference to ‘gang’ near his league, would we?
